Season Kick Off

I took a trip to Morocco with friends at the end of November. I was first a bit concerned about the possibility that it would snow, back home while I was enjoying the heat of the sun but my worries have been quickly washed away by the good waves that we surfed and the super chill lifestyle that I’ve embraced during the stay.

I came back home just in time to put winter tires on the car and to look at the first real snowfall of the season. It has hammered down for almost 2 weeks in a row, so sick! I finally got to taste it last w.e. My home-resort Avoriaz was the first to be checked on my list and the day after, I answered the call of  Pierre Morel, who hooked me up with the A.team in Arreches -Beaufort, to shoot J+1 for Skipass.com. Blue birds, plenty of powder and good vibes just made this day one of the best winter kick off!

I now gonna enjoy some more ski at home, trying to get my thighs in shape. After Xmas I’ll move back to Engelberg to shred with other friends. I can’t wait!

Meanwhile I had a bunch of new publication, all of them shot by Oskar/ in the US (a rad 12 pages article about my Georgian trip, written by Johan Jonsson), Swiss (a couple of years old pick that is still looking sharp).

I went to Annecy to meet up with Arcteryx. We had along some press peoples a 2014 product presentation which was super interesting. I learned a lot about the product and about their unique confection and development process way, bullet proof gears! Plus they welcomed us with a Tartiflette which is hands down one of my top ranked winter dish!
